well, "listening" nampaknya betul-betul menjadi momok bagi kalangan siswa maupun mahasiswa yang sedang mempelajari bahasa inggris,, tapi mengapa demikian???
baiklah, saya akan memberikan sedikit tips menguasai listening, namun harus diingat bahwa tulisan saya ini tidak berhukum mutlak benar, karena mungkin saja anda memiliki tips-tips lain yang anda rasa lebih baik dan benar dibandingkan tips-tips dari saya.
berikut di bawah ini ;
1. kuasai banyak-banyak "Vocab"
karena jika anda menguasai banyak "Vocab" sangat mustahil bagi anda mengalami kesulitan dalam "Listening"
2. pelajarilah bagaimana biasanya seorang "Native" berbicara.
seorang "Native" biasanya sering menggabungkan bunyi. contoh nya pada kalimat berikut ini;
"I am on the stage" "native speaker" biasanya akan mengucapkannya seperti "I'm(m)on the stage"
3. sering-seringlah mendengarkan lagu yang berbahasa inggris
semakin sering anda mendengarkan lagu yang berbahasa inggris, anda akan semakin terbiasa dengan gaya-gaya bahasa seorang "Native" tetapi, jangan anda perhatikan "Grammar-nya" karena biasanya di dalam sebuah lagu tidak memperhatikan "Grammar"
4. menonton "western movie" baik di TV maupun Video hasil download
dengan menonton film-film luar akan membuat anda terbiasa dengan gaya bahasa maupun cara penuturan seorang native.
5. belajarlah dengan lebih dari 2 orang guru
semakin banyak guru anda maka akan semakin paham anda. karena tidak ada jaminannya bahwa guru anda menguasai betul "Listening", sehingga akan lebih baik jika anda belajar "Listening" dengan lebih dari 2 orang guru.
